BEAG (Budapesti Elektroakusztikai Gyár) Hungarian microphone from 1966. Originally a Medium-Z Impedance microphone. I installed an impedance transformer to crank it up to high impedance.
It sounds amazing. Deep lows thanks to the open structure, and no feedback! Massive output
This microphone was used in public transport throughout Hungary.
5-pin connector is replaced by a new Switchcraft XLR connector with pin 2 being hot.
